Publication Charges

The Journal of Environmental Sciences and Sustainability (JESS) is not funded by any university, institution, or government grant. To ensure the sustainability of open access publishing and cover editorial, production, and online hosting costs, the journal relies on Article Publication Charges (APC).

There are no submission charges.
The APC is applicable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication following the peer-review process.

Payment Process

Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, the corresponding author will receive an official invoice and detailed payment instructions from the editorial office.

Waiver Policy

In exceptional cases, the Editorial Board may consider partial or full waivers of APCs for authors facing financial constraints, particularly from developing countries. Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript acceptance and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
